Blogs In First Grade

Mrs. Cassidy and her 25 first grade students in Moose Jaw, Canada use blogs: for posting assignments, for teacher entries/activities, for inviting the world into her classroom to help them learn, as a forum for students to write about themselves thus promoting writing skills, to showcase pictures of students at school or at home with their family and she encourages parents to write to her class through the "yackpack."
